Konrad & Aaron were already there, Robert & I met up Thursday night. Friday we climbed High Exposure and Three Pines (5.3) Friday we do Gelsa and Simple Ceilings. While sitting on the second belay ledge, I photographed Robert & Aaron following up. (Robert was seconding, Aaron was using a prusick on a fixed rope Robert brought up.
Leave D.C. 3 am, Arrive NewPaltz, NY 9am, By 11am, we're on rock!
First we climb Gelsa, a nice 5.4 3-pitch warm-up. After the climb, we went on walkabout and saw the above view.
Two words: High Exposure! (5.6)
Last Day (Boo-hoo!) The 6 of us split up, and Jason and I head out to Jackie (5.5), Simple Ceilings (5.5) and South Pillar (5.2 in book, but more like 5.4 - anyway, I didn't like it.)
I have many more photos, but that'll do for now!
